What's for Breakfast?

New to the Bed and Breakfast Experience?

If you've never stayed at a bed and breakfast, the Abineau Lodge Bed and Breakfast is a great place to start. Our bed and breakfast is unique because it is a bit bigger than most of the other bed and breakfasts in Flagstaff, is the only Flagstaff bed and breakfast that is fully licensed and inspected as a restaurant and hotel and the owners-Wendy and Jaime-don't live in the bed and breakfast itself. In some ways we're more like a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast but we still provide you with the best that bed and breakfasts are known for, a full hot breakfast, made to order every morning, personal attention and a warm and inviting home-like environment. And unlike most bed and breakfasts we built the Abineau Lodge just for this purpose, not as a private home.

Moderate Rates

Rates at the Abineau Lodge Bed and Breakfast are reasonable and moderate ranging from $144 to $179 double occupancy in the high season and $95 during non-peak times. There are no hidden resort fees and unlike bed and breakfast packages offered by some hotels, the breakfast you get at the Abineau Lodge is hot, home cooked and varies daily. You'll find our rates are comparable to Flagstaff's nicer hotels - and they don't provide a full, complimentary breakfast.

Home cooking is a traditional bed and breakfast amenity.

We make the best buttermilk pancakes, from scratch, using fresh buttermilk, real butter and served with 100% pure maple syrup. Or you might get our famous Hopi Blue Corn pancakes, from a recipe given to Wendy by a Hopi friend and modified for non-Hopi tastes. And if you have special dietary needs all you need to do is let us know and we can accommodate almost anything. If you want to know what's on the menu check the Breakfast Menu here.

We're Off the Beaten Path

The Abineau Lodge Huskies We admit it. We're not the easiest place to find. But our guests like it this way. We don't get a lot of 'drive by' traffic because, unless you're looking for us, it's unlikely that you would drive by our location! We're off I-17 a mile and a half on a small rural road that leads into the rural community of Mountainaire. Other than the Abineau Lodge Bed and Breakfast there are only a handful of businesses here-the Mountainaire Tavern and Restaurant, the Mountainaire Store and the Mountainaire mini-storage. GPS will get you close but not exact so remember to read our directions before you come out to see us.
