    Caveats

We do host weddings and events a couple times each month. Usually these events are scheduled well in advance and we will advise you if there is an event scheduled during the time of your requested reservation. Occasionally events are scheduled after individuals have reserved one of our guest rooms. If that occurs we will contact you and allow you to cancel your reservation at no charge if you wish to do so. Most events end by 10 o'clock. When events are scheduled the common areas are generally reserved for the exclusive use of the event.

The Lodge is also our home. Your hosts are Jaime Ballesteros and Wendy White. Jaime is a contractor. Wendy is a lawyer. We both have full time businesses that operate out of offices in the Lodge. Those other businesses take up the majority of our time. We are not generally available for socializing with guests and you will be left to your own devices most of your stay.

We have no control over the weather. It's generally sunny but we do, thankfully, get both rain and snow. We are not weathermen. If you are concerned about weather ruining your vacation, we recommend that you wait until the last minute to make reservations because we do not give refunds for weather cancellations.

We do have a Café and Wine Bar open to the public located in the main dining room. We serve espresso drinks, made to order breakfast items, Sunday specials, breakfast burritos, pastries, sandwiches, salads, wine and beer in the Cafe. Summer hours are 8am to 2pm Wed-Fri and Sunday, 8am to 6pm Saturday. Off season hours are 8am to 6pm on Saturday and 8 am to 2pm on Sunday.
